Our Fast Pitch session (a virtual event) with Rachel Courtland, IEEE Spectrum is scheduled for Wed., Mar. 1 at 2 pm ET. Rachel is interested in the technology that will create the computers of the future, including materials science, new transistors and memory structures, and new approaches to building chips for applications such as deep learning. She is also interested renewable energy technology, anything involving quantum computing (in fact, “anything quantum”) and finally the engineering behind future science, especially physics and astronomy, such as the technology behind new dark matter detectors, subatomic particle physics experiments, and efforts to produce fusion.
