Our Fast Pitch session (a virtual event) with Marion Renault, Columbus Dispatch, is scheduled for Wed., Feb 15 at 2 pm ET. Marion is interested in research on two topics. First, she would like stories about the cultural implications of fracking on a community. How do the members of communities in which there is a tradition of mining and commerce react to the risks and benefits of fracking? Second, she is interested in studies of the psychology of communication about issues such as climate change, vaccination, or evolution, in which journalists are confronted by readers with a denial stance.
