EVENT DESCRIPTION
Our Fast Pitch session (a virtual event) with Tom Ackerman, Al Jazeera English is scheduled for Wed, Nov. 16, 2 pm EST. Tom is interested in stories about the environment, immigration, energy, and agriculture.
He is a TV reporter so, he needs to be able to SHOW the story (visuals are important!). He says he's a general assignment reporter trying to “explain what goes on in America with a particular awareness of the “voice of the voiceless”.
He does lots of stories about indigenous people. His audience is global. If he likes your story he might visit your campus with a video camera.
