Laura's areas of interest include animal behavior broadly, such as animal grieving, teaching, communication, and sexual harassment. She is particularly interested in birds and bees, with a special focus on bird behavior (song, communication, migration, etc.) Laura writes, assigns, and edits both news and feature stories for both print and web versions of National Wildlife Magazine. When Laura identifies a story, she'll likely assign it to a writer, who will call your source.
