Sharon Oosthoek is an award-winning freelance journalist who writes about science and the environment. Her work has appeared in New Scientist, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Geographic, CBC.ca, Maclean’s, Reader’s Digest and Science News for Students. Sharon has more than 25 years experience working for daily newspapers, magazines, online news services and non-governmental organizations, including the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the Council of Ontario Universities.
