EVENT DESCRIPTION

Our Fast Pitch session (a virtual event) with Alexandra Witze, Science News and Nature, is scheduled for Wed. May 10, 2 pm ET. Alexandra is interested in earth and planetary sciences (for instance natural disasters or climate), as well as astronomy.

She is looking for ideas for future news stories -- these could be publications or conference talks from your researchers, or perhaps a field expedition or launch of a major new research program or facility. She is interested in hearing about early-career researchers as well as your more established scientific stars. “I'm always looking for leads on interesting people and research, so it doesn't have to be hard discoveries. Just anyone working on interesting stuff in earth/planetary/astro,” she says.
