Emily is a science journalist who writes about health, medicine and biotechnology. Most recently, she was the associate editor for biomedicine at MIT Technology Review. She now freelances and has been published in the Washington Post, Scientific American, Smithsonian Magazine, The Atlantic, Pacific Standard and the Baltimore Sun, among others.
